My Top 5 Favorite Products from the New Catalog

1.  Something for Baby Bundle (item #136790-wood, #136791-clear)

Maybe it’s just me, or maybe it’s the huge number of baby showers I’ve been invited to lately, but I don’t think there is anything more adorable than the cute little onesie stamp and adorable little tie to “dress it up”.  Add to that the fact that every image in this stamp set has a matching Framelit to perfectly crop it, and I think we have a winner!  I can see the endless possibilities with this bundle – cards, scrapbooks, gift bags, and shower favors.  Talk about versatile!

2.  Project Life (see complete line of products on pages 188-189)

Becky Higgins has partnered with Stampin’ Up! to offer several Project Life kits that are exclusive to SU, so you know they coordinate with our papers, stamps and punches perfectly!  If you are one of those people who would love to scrapbook, but think you are too busy, I urge you to take a look at Project Life.  Scrapbooking doesn’t get any easier (well, unless of course you have someone else do it for you, but good luck with that…)!  Simply add your photos to the Project Life photo pages, choose some cards from the Project Life kits to fill in the remaining pockets (available in different themes – Everyday, Love, Baby and Kids), and either finish off with some embellishments from the Project Life Accessory Pack or make your own from coordinating Stampin’ Up! products.  It’s perfect for beginners and also for advanced scrapbookers who need to catch up on photos quickly.

3.  Flower Patch Bundle (item #136788-photopolymer only)

Have you tried the photopolymer stamps yet?  OMG, you HAVE to!  I think you will LOVE them!  I am a wood-mount die-hard, but love the photopolymer.  They are similar to the clear-mount, in that you use the acrylic clear blocks to mount them, but I personally think they are better than the clear-mount.  First of all, they are SUPER sticky!  Ever have problems with getting your clear-mount stamps to cling to the block?  You won’t have that problem with photopolymer.  You may notice that all the alphabet stamps in the new catalog are photopolymer.  There’s a very good reason for that.  They are perfectly clear, so you can see EXACTLY where you are stamping!  The Flower Patch Bundle takes Two-Step stamping to a-whole-nother level, without ever pulling out your Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up your stamps.  I can see myself using this set for everything!

4.  Hamburger Box Bigz XL Die (item #133724)

Can you say ADORABLE?  I’ve already seen some super cute projects made with this die (on Pinterest, of course…where else?), and I know it’s going to be one of the hottest dies we’ve ever sold!  Use it for party favors, gift packaging, or just for fun.  Did you also see the coordinating Fry Box Bigz Die (item #132966) or the matching Fast-Food Friends stamp set (item #134069-wood, 134072-clear)?  Those ketchup and mustard bottles are freaking adorable!!!

5.  Hot Diggity Dog stamp set (item #134021-wood, 134024-clear)

It’s been awhile since I could say I was excited about an animal set.  This one, however, is incredibly cute!  Mix and match the heads and bodies to create your own breed.  Honestly, though, I think what I love best about this set are the sentiments.  We all know someone who is nutso about their pets (ok, I’ll admit, that person is me)!  I know I will be making many sympathy cards with this set, because the sentiments are lovely for those losing a furry family member.  There’s also a cat version – You Little Furball (item #134147-wood, 134150-clear) for you cat-lovers.  I’m planning to purchase both!

Because there are so many amazing products in this new catalog, I had a very difficult time narrowing it down to my favorites.  Here are my Runners-Up (watch for projects made with them in the future):
  1. Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (item 133787) – (so glad there’s a replacement for my beloved Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack that retired this year)
  2. Hearts Border Punch (item #133784)
  3. Fast Fuse Adhesive (item #129026) – (imagine Sticky Strip with the convenience of SNAIL)
  4. Envelope Punch Board (item #133774) – (not just for envelopes!!!)
  5. Stars Framelits (item #133723)
What are your favorites from this year's catalog?
