Christmas in July with "Be The Star"

The new Be the Star stamp set is so versatile!  I've used it for children's birthday cards, sports scrapbook pages, and even Christmas projects.  Today I'm sharing a simple, but beautiful Christmas card that I made using both the stamp set and the matching Star Framelits dies.

I am obsessed with the way that I can use the Framelits to layer a variety of sizes of stars on my projects.  The layer of champagne glitter paper just really makes that stamped star POP!

The greeting was stamped using the Greetings of the Season stamp set, which is not in the catalog, but still available for purchase.  Get it now before it's gone!

Introducing...Blendabilities Markers from Stampin' Up!

NEW Blendabilities markers are now available for purchase!  Blendabilities are alcohol-based markers.  They are different from our regular Stampin' Write markers.  Blendabilities are made for blending.  While alcohol markers are not a completely new product, they are new to the Stampin' Up! product line.

What sets them apart from other alcohol-based markers:

  • The Stampin' Up! rectangular barrel keeps your markers from rolling away!
  • Flat storage helps to maintain the life of each marker.
  • Each marker comes with a tip on each end: brush and fine.
  • Marker tips are made of nylon, which is superior to polyester which can fray.
  • Color coded caps.
  • Stampin' Up! markers coordinate wonderfully with our cardstock, and can be used with transparent sheets.

As a SU Demonstrator, I was able to preorder some of these before they were available to customers.  I have been practicing with mine, and I absolutely LOVE them!  They work perfectly with the Blended Bloom stamp in the new catalog.

Stampin' Up! has a number of training videos available for you to learn how to use these awesome new markers.
