Beautiful Baptism Card

It seems like FOREVER since I've last embossed something.  This beautiful baptism card was the perfect project to add a little metallic elegance to using my heat tool!

This card is for a little girl named Rose, so I thought it only fitting that I add some roses to it.  These roses are from a ribbon that is retired, but I had a few left.  They were originally vanilla, but I spritzed them using rubbing alcohol, a bit of Blushing Bride reinker, and a Stampin' Spritzer.  I love how they turned out!

The stamp set I used is called Crosses of Hope and is now retired.  I just love this set so much that I hate to give it up!

Advent Calendar

I spent Black Friday crafting with my mom and sister, followed by wine tasting at a local winery. Mom and I made coconut lavendar sugar scrub and my sister and I also made these adorable Advent calendars.  (I saw the idea on Janet Wakeland's Facebook page.)

The original project used the Oh, What Fun Tags project kit.  That was our original plan as well, but I forgot to order an extra kit, so we ended up recreating the tags from scratch.  Since Stampin' Up!'s products coordinate so well, it was a breeze!

Inside each of my packages is a different flavor of tea.  I though it would be the perfect way to relax each evening during this busy, busy time of year.
