"Snow" Covered Trees

Hello there!  Thanks for joining me today!  Today I want to share a technique that I recently learned from my friend and teammate, Sherry.

Notice the snow on the trees?  It's puffy!

To make the puffy snow, mix equal parts of shaving cream and Elmer's School Glue (about 2 tablespoons of each).  Then use a small paint brush to apply it to the trees.  As it dries, it puffs up!  You could also add some Dazzling Details or other glitter to the mixture to give it some sparkle.  How fun is this?!!?

My Stamp Club members will get to make this card tonight!  A new round of Stamp Club begins soon.  Want to join?  Contact me to be put on the waiting list.  I'll be looking for new members in January!

Halloween Treat Box & Gift Set

Happy Friday!  I have a fun Halloween project for you today.  We made these adorable Halloween treat boxes at my Stamp Club last month.  I CASED (Copy And Share Everything) the pizza box from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.

These pizza boxes are so versatile.  They are the perfect size for 3" x 3" gift cards, and they have a shiny food-safe coating on the inside, so you can use them for things like cookies or edible treats.  I have plans to use them for Christmas too!

I also have a video tutorial for you today!  See how I made these cute projects, and how versatile this product suite is below.

I hope you enjoyed this project video.  I am hoping to get better at the video editing and plan to do more of these in the future.  Enjoy your weekend!

Glitzed With Gold!

My favorite card from last week's class. We used the Bundle of Love Designer Series Paper to make this GORGEOUS project glitzed with gold!

I also showed them how to make these adorable gift bags.

Did you notice how the bag is gusseted in the picture?  These bags come flat.  Check out this video to see how we "fattened them up" to fit more goodies!
