Sale-A-Bration 2013!

It's my favorite time of the Stampin' Up! year - Sale-A-Bration!!!  Why is it my favorite time, you ask?  Well, because Stampin' Up! gives away FREE stuff!  During SAB, which runs from January 22-March 22, for every $50 you spend, you will receive a free item of your choice from the SAB flyer (if you did not receive one in the mail, let me know, and I will send you one).

Want to earn even MORE free products?  Host a workshop during SAB, and you will automatically receive a free pack of Silver Glimmer Paper!  When your workshop sales total $400, you will also receive the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper, the matching Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack, and Madison Avenue Stamp Set free, as well as $65 in hostess dollars to spend in the catalog how you wish, and 50% off any full-priced item!

See the Sale-A-Bration brochure now.

I'm offering a special gift to the first person to book a SAB workshop today.  Email me today to book your date and claim your gift!

Pennant Parade Stamp Camp Cards

You've been waiting patiently, and here they are...the cards from January's Stamp Camp!  We used the Pennant Parade stamp set and/or the matching builder punch to make these 5 cards.
This wedding card was everyone's favorite!  Simple, but beautiful.  (See?  Card making doesn't have to be difficult!)
  • The cute little bride and groom were punched out with the Pennant Builder punch, using the 1" Circle Punch for their heads.

  • The only stamping done on this card is the sentiment at the bottom.
  • Little hearts made from Silver Glimmer Paper are the perfect finishing touch!  Get a pack of the Silver Glimmer Paper FREE when you host a workshop during Sale-A-Bration (beginning Jan 22)!

I wanted to do something somewhat masculine this time around, since I always find it so difficult to come up with ideas for the men in my life (I'm not sure that they would appreciate sparkles and ribbon as much as I do).  The Pennant Parade stamp set came to the rescue to make this cute little golf flag.

  • Cajun Craze and More Mustard make the flag bright and cheery, but not too feminine.
  • I punched the flag out using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch, then used Stampin' Dimensionals to give it some "pop".
  • A toothpick works perfectly for the flag post!

Another clean and simple birthday card.  This card is CASEd from Melissa Davies.  Click here to visit her blog for more really cute creations!
  • I love the bright color combination of Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, and Calypso Coral against the Whisper White background!

  • Sassy Salutations is the perfect way to continue the whimsical fun of the ice cream cones.  I have to say this is one of my favorite sets for greetings!

This card turned out to be my favorite.  I can't take credit for the cuteness, though-it's another CASE.  I got my inspiration from Krista Fenton at Krista's Stamp Spot.  You can see her original creation here.

  • Is there anything cuter than the little flower and heart buttons?  They really add a sweetness to this baby card.
  • Pennants seem to be everywhere in paper crafting these days.  I added some Baker's Twine on the ends to create a "hanging banner".

For a list of supplies used for any of these cards, please email me at rachael.julson@yahoo.com.

Welcome to my blog!

There are so many days that go by with me stamping something new, and I'm hoping to be able to use this blog to share my creations with you.  It's my intention to post pictures of my finished cards (and other projects) to hopefully inspire YOUR creativity!  Along with projects, you may see me posting tutorials (some might even be videos!), Stampin' Up! promotions and some of my upcoming events, as well as the occasional giveaway!
I've spent this weekend building my blog and prepping for my monthly Stamp Camp.  We are going to be making cards with the Pennant Parade stamp set from the 2012-13 Annual Catalog.  Stay tuned, as I will be posting the photos of the projects we make at Stamp Camp tomorrow night later this week.

I am always looking for people to share my love of stamping with, so I am happy to answer any questions you may have!
