Mojo Monday-MOJO309

When I'm looking for inspiration, sometimes an online challenge helps.  This week, I went to the Mojo Monday blog challenge to get my creative juices flowing.  Here is this week's sketch:

I recommend visiting their blog and checking out what other stampers came up with.  Some of them are absolutely beautiful!  Here's my version of this week's challenge.

This card is made using the Cycle Celebration stamp set (one of my favorites from this year's catalog) and the matching Designer Series Paper.  One of the things I absolutely LOVE about Stampin' Up! is that everything coordinates.  This stamp set has an entire line of coordinating products.  Have you ever spend hours in the store trying to match paper to ribbon?  With Stampin' Up! you will never have to do that.  They've done all the work for you!

I also used one of my favorite colors, Bermuda Bay.  I've caught myself using this color a lot lately!  It's just so bright and fun!

Stampin' Up! supplies used:

Stamp set: Cycle Celebration
Paper: Very Vanilla, Bermuda Bay, Summer Starfruit, Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Raspberry Ripple
Accessories: Labels Collection Framelits, 1" Square Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals

Card Buffet 09/14/13

It seems like forever since the last time I held a stamping event.  Ok, so maybe it has been forever...May was a long time ago!  My next one will be held:

Saturday, September 14th
10 am-Noon
Sweet Temptations, Whitehall

I'm going to try out a little bit different of a format this time around.  I'm calling it a "Card Buffet", and here's how it works...

In the past, I've offered five different cards, sometimes with a matching stamp set included for a set fee.  This time I will have TEN different cards predesigned and precut, ready for you to stamp.  You get to choose which of the ten you would like to make, and pay $2 per card.  There is a 5 card minimum ($10), but you can make however many more than that you would like-you would just pay $2 for each additional card you make.  I will waive the $10 fee for the first 5 cards if you place a Stampin' Up! order of $50 or more.

Each month, I will swap out 5 of the cards for new ones, so if you didn't get a chance to make all that you wanted, there is a chance it will be available again the next month, but there will also be new ones to choose from.

I am not requiring advance registration this time.  That may be subject to change in the future.

Also, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN ADHESIVE.  I will provide any "special" adhesives needed, such as Stampin' Dimensionals or Glue Dots.  I will also have Snail Adhesive and Two-Way Glue Pens available to purchase if you need to.

Please contact me if you have any questions.  See you on the 14th!
